Creating and Assigning Tasks

Tasks in Revwit help you stay organised and ensure that every contact receives the attention they need. Here’s how to create tasks tied to specific contacts, assign them to team members, and set due dates:

Access the Contacts Page:

  • Navigate to the Person’s tab from the sidebar.

  • Select the contact you want to associate the task with.

Create a New Task:

  • On the contact details page, locate the Tasks tab.

  • Click on Add Task to create a new task.

Enter Task Details:

  • Provide a clear task title and description (e.g., “Follow up on proposal” or “Send product demo”).

Assign the Task:

  • Choose the team member responsible for completing the task.

  • If the task is for yourself, you can leave it assigned to your account.

Set a Due Date:

  • Select a specific date and time for the task to be completed.

  • Use the calendar picker for accuracy.

Save and Track:

  • Click Save to add the task to the contact’s record.

  • The task will now appear in both the contact’s task list and the Tasks section of the sidebar for easy tracking.

With tasks tied to specific contacts, you can maintain focus on actionable next steps, delegate effectively, and never miss a follow-up opportunity. This feature ensures smooth collaboration within your team and keeps your relationship management on track.
